Knitting can be a quiet, solo hobby, and that can be lovely. For me, the most inspiring moments have come when I'm with my friends — brainstorming ideas and colours, helping each other with confusing patterns, and admiring the finished work.
I'm hoping to expand my knitting circle and host some casual socials for anyone who hasn't had a chance to experience knitting with friends :)

I started Knitting with Friends because knitting is more fun with other people. I'm also the knitwear designer behind amyelizabethmakes, and I love Scandinavian and Nordic knitting — the colourwork, the yarns, the whole approach.
